Installing throwover saddlebags on Harley Davidson Dynas

INSTALLATION:

1.You may find that the first time you remove your Dyna seat it can be a little tricky. If possible simply remove the rear seat screw and slide the throw over yoke under the seat.

If you decide to remove your seat. Most Dyna motorcycle seats are removed as follows: Remove rear screw, pull seat rearward until front tab disengages from under the tank, remove seat by pulling seat forward and sliding the strap over the passenger seat (requires some pulling at the strap). Careful, don't scratch your fender with the rear seat tab!

NOTE: On many Dynas the grab strap is bolted to the motorcycle. Some people find it easier to remove the seat by lifting up the seat and unbolting the grab strap.

2. The yoke is the part of the bags that fits under the seat. Lace the yoke together. The second set of holes work for most Dynas. The existing holes work for the vast majority of Dynas.

3.Place the saddlebags on your bike. Either slide the yoke under your seat or reinstall the seat. Use the lower tie downs to secure the bottom of the bags to the shock spring. Leave about 1 inch of slack when attaching the tie-downs to allow for suspension travel. Do not pull too hard when attaching the tie-down to avoid damaging the D ring attachment.

4. Give your bike a final safety check. Make sure the seat and saddlebags are secure and the bags cannot come in contact with your wheel, spokes, belt or chain.

As always don't stab, slice, fold, spindle or mutilate yourself while using sharp instruments!

I am proud to announce that we have added DCW Dyna throw over saddlebags to our inventory. These saddlebags are designed to install on your Dyna with no modifications of your motorcycle. These leather saddlebags are the very best available in their price range. You can find them at: DYNA THROWOVER
